Terms and Conditions for Events with The Whispering Witch

General Rules & Payments for investigations

Payments

All places must be paid for 7 days in advance for investigations, In the event of the investigation having to be cancelled, then a full refund will be given, Or can credited to another future event.

In the event of a customer not turning up at an investigation no refund will be given.

If you wish to cancel your place then 7 days notice must be given or no refund will be given.

Places for investigations unpaid for with in the 7 days prior to an investigation can/will be sold off to other interested parties.

Weather/Cancellation

Rarely, ghost hunt events are cancelled or postponed due to weather conditions or situations out of our control. When this occurs, we will make every effort to ensure you receive a prompt refund of payment. If the event is moved or re-scheduled , we may set refund limitations. Any expenses including travel incurred due to the cancellation of a ghost hunt event will not be refunded.

Any event due to take place wholly or partially in the open air / outside could be affected by unsuitable/adverse weather conditions. In this case, RGW&P reserves the right to relocate the event to an area which is undercover. In most cases all ghost hunt events take place and it is your responsibility to bring suitable clothing to match the weather conditions for the time.

Behaviour

We would remind all guests that Paranormal Investigations by their nature can be quite reserved affairs as well as being fun. Therefore we request that if you are thinking of joining us as a group that’s up for a laugh then you carefully consider whether a ghost hunt event is really suitable for yourselves? Disruptive Behaviour is not tolerated out of fairness to our guests. Throughout the ghost hunt event you and your party will act in a sensible manner and will not cause harm or injury to anyone else, any animal, effect of the property etc. We operate a 2 strike rule and you will be escorted from the premises.

Alcohol/Drugs

Important: If anyone arrives under the influence of alcohol, drugs and is suspected of bringing alcoholic drinks or drugs to the event they will not be allowed to stay for the duration of the night and will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Due to restrictions at our locations pregnant women are not allowed on any of our public ghost hunt events.

Smoking

We only permit smoking in specified outdoor zones and we will inform you of these during your event. Please also ensure that no candles or other potential fire hazards are used during the event unless directed to do so by a team member. Cigarette breaks will be arranged through out the evening at set times so as not to interfere with the investigations.

Age restrictions

No minors under 16 allowed unless accompanied by an Adult, (This will be at the discretions of the organizers)

Our team and consultants.

Our consultants are professional consultants: however any and all statements made utilizing our consultants are the sole opinion of the individual consultant and do not reflect the opinions or policies, stated or otherwis of The Whispering Witch . No perceived predictions, opinions, information, advice or comments made by our employees, psychics, mediums or clairvoyants should be interpreted as factual or actual. You, the Customer, are responsible for making your own decisions and it is understood that when our team members, psychics, mediums and clairvoyants suggest something to you, it is an opinion of the consultant, and should NOT be interpreted as the only course of action.

When in attendance of an event at a hired property you must comply with their own health & safety policies as well as our own.

Accidents/Incidents

Although we cannot foresee any problems, accidents / incidents may happen, all members of your team should preferably have their own third party public liability insurance as our insurers have indicated that our public liability policies may not cover your party during your visit to the location since they are outside normal public access categories. You are staying at the location at your own risk. We accept no liability for any accident or injury to you, however caused.

You are accepting that The Whispering Witch cant not be held responsible in the event of accidents of any kind. We will make you fully aware of all safety issues, fire escapes and hazards etc, it is up to you to conform & not take any risks that contradict any health and safety issues.

Guarantees.

Please note that our accounts regarding a location are not fabricated. The Whispering Witch team have on occasion witnessed and recorded paranormal activity in various locations though we cannot guarantee that paranormal activity will take place on the night, but so far to date, our ghosts / spirits haven’t disappointed us. We accept no responsibility if you have to change clothing after a sighting or incident!

Entertainment.

You agree that any and all services from The Whispering Witch are for entertainment purposes. Though we always endeavour to give you the best experience possible we can never guarantee the Behaviour of the unknown and thus we cannot make any guarantees about the validity and truth behind your experiences. However, we do guarantee that all events are organized with a scientific outlook and are conducted under controlled conditions at all times

Due to changes in Consumer Law replacing the Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951 we are obliged to state the following: "All services provided on ghost hunts, vigils,readings and other events are for entertainment purposes only."

Personal belongings.

All luggage, clothing, equipment, vehicles and effects belonging to you or your party are your own responsibility. The Whispering Witch is not responsible for the safe custody of attendees property, for its loss, damage or theft however caused.

Legal.

By agreeing to these terms and conditions you further indemnify the organizers / promoters from and against all legal liability in respect of any costs, claims, damages, demands, penalties, actions, proceedings, suits, losses or expenses in respect of or arising out of the injury to or the death of any person, or damage to any property arising from your participation in the chosen ghost hunt activity.

Video and Photographic Media.

While attending any event with The Whispering Witch, any Video or Photographic media taken, remains the Property of The Whispering Witch. No video footage, or photographs may be used in any form of main stream media, without the permission of The Whispering Witch. All footage and photos are for Personal use only.

The Whispering Witch have the right to use any photos taken on one of our events, to advertise any future events, promotions, Advertising etc, with out asking for consent of any Person in them.

In the event of any evidence captured by video or camera, A copy must be sent to The Whispering Witch who have copyright over them.

You must conform to our health and safety policy (risk assessment)

All event bookings made through The Whispering Witch means your acceptance of our Terms and Conditions in full.
